Small shape, high power
The upgraded product, rebranded Hagglunds Atom, is a small hydraulic motor with a maximum torque of up to 13.6 kNm and a specific torque of 40 Nm/bar. The motor is capable of delivering full torque at speeds up to 400 rpm, giving it a maximum power of 394 kW, far exceeding its peers.

"The Hagglunds Atom, with far superior torque and power, is truly a high performance motor; Although it is extremely small and lightweight, it can help customers achieve any goal.
Can easily cope with more stringent application environment
Hagglunds Atom targets customers across the walking machinery, Marine and recycling applications. For example, the compact, lightweight motor can be easily mounted on a land or sea winch, and its peak pressure of up to 420 bar can easily withstand a variety of impact loads. The motor is ideal for small shredders and other machines operating in harsh and complex environments.
"The Hagglunds Atom is robust and comparable to large Hagglunds motors," Ulrich said. "The motor offers both reliable performance and a wide range of applications."
Many new products will be introduced
With the debut of the Hagglunds Atom, many other new products in the Hagglunds family are on the way. Instead of technology naming in the past, products of the future will be named after natural and scientific phenomena. This way of naming not only reflects the evolution of the product since its introduction, but also highlights its key features.
"A compelling and memorable name will help guide customers to Hagglunds motors that meet their needs," Ulrich said. "In some ways, we can look at it as a comeback. Our first Hagglunds motor was named Hagglunds Viking, and this motor lives up to its name."
